Especially if they cut the stretch wrap and find that the product that stretches the package is something completely unusable, they will be desperate. For example, napkins, plastic cups, or almost any other disposable consumer goods, these things don’t make a lot of sense for thieves!
Unless someone can see something on a tray. And they can clearly know what it is. If they waste too much time and opportunity, they may be caught. It’s not worth it if they try to find out what’s behind the stretch wrapping paper and then get caught.
So, we all know that time is of the essence.
Thieves don’t like to waste time stealing things. In their nature, they want to steal things and leave. The less time it takes to create a crime, the better it will be for the time and opportunity they have escaped. If you don’t believe it, you can see any surveillance video. We can see that in any case, the offender can enter and exit as quickly as possible. For thieves, they don’t stop for coffee and doughnuts, they don’t wander around and they don’t talk to employees. They run in, stealing what they want is their purpose. Then they ran out. This “out-going” mentality is also applicable to stretch-wrapped items.
Anything that is not stretched is easily stolen. Literally, within seconds, a thief can successfully get them from unwrapped objects and leave. So, you need to think about that.
If you have a stretchable tray, place it somewhere outside. Your purpose has two, one is not for a criminal to see what is truly wrapped, another purpose is to cannot let the thief open stretch packaging, because open stretch packaging, might steal into the goods and then run away. That means every bad guy should think twice. So the thieves were afraid to steal something safe. This is the stretch wrap!
